    Hi guys

we are thinking of implementing KN in our MOSS environment

    1. can we have one KN Client which connects to three (MOSS + KN) servers, is it possible, we need that because one is a production environment, one is pre-prodution environment and the last one is our local developers environment....
    2. is it possible to use KN over the extranet, for example our main production environment is (MOSS + KN) is in USA, and we want people to connect through KN Client from UK using there own laptops, is it possible.
    3. where can i find any architecture, any system and any feature kind of diagrams and documents for (MOSS + KN)

    Thanks in advance.

    Hassan

     Answer

AFAIK this was never possible in the current revision of Knowledge Networks.

For question 2 of course you can do this.  I deployed this at a large Pharma client and this is very doable.

I have ones that I have created for Clients but that is not for public view.  I am not sure of what the Microsoft Team put together if anything that was released.

    Bob,

You say that the answer to question 2 is very doable. It is exactly what I am after, I want to have internal (authenticated via kerberos) and external, non company people, connecting up to the same set of information. I really don't have any idea where to start. I was the easiet way would be to give them AD accounts but as they aren't staff, then I want to avoid that route. Where do I start??
