Will KN be resurrected?
This tool has great potential... Any ideas from MSFT about wether this functionality will be added to future WSS implementations?

Even people from Microsoft will not be able to talk about what is in the next version of SharePoint until it is in public beta.
So wait until then before asking this kind of question.
As far as I know it's not even in *private* beta yet so you are going to be waiting for quite a while.
As someone who worked closely with this product i can definitly relate to your comment about the great potential. The only think i can openly say about this is that i HOPE it does come back. As Mr Walsh stated though we are not allowed under our NDA to discuss upcomming features in VNext. When word is openly released about whether or not this will be in the next version you can be sure i will be the first one blogging about it. Until then.... keep your fingers and toes crossed.
