Is there a way to remove SharePoint search results?I want to remove a certain result of a particular query, because the author put the metadata carelessly and confusing people who view the search results. How do I do it?

The metadata was then manully corrected but the confusing result is still there if I type the same query. © 2009 Microsoft Corporation. You can manually start an incremental crawl via SSP.
AndyGett Blog | @AndyGett TwitterThu, 02 Jul 2009 21:06:43 Z2009-07-02T21:06:43Zhttp://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/sharepointsearch/thread/d24d336d-95f7-4fd3-a056-67f9b8c4c8f6#c984bd92-184f-4c31-a77b-3e325f7d9962http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/sharepointsearch/thread/d24d336d-95f7-4fd3-a056-67f9b8c4c8f6#c984bd92-184f-4c31-a77b-3e325f7d9962stevemagidhttp://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Profile/en-US/?user=stevemagidIs there a way to remove SharePoint search results?Sounds like you just need to correct the metadata. but if you want to remove the result for some reason, there is a way. In the SSp under search administration there is a link to remove results. You just add the url and click remove. when you want to add the result back to your list you just have to go to crawl rules. the removal would have created a remove crawl rul. you can deletre that rule when you ready to add the result back.Fri, 03 Jul 2009 06:00:29 Z2009-07-03T06:00:29Zhttp://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/sharepointsearch/thread/d24d336d-95f7-4fd3-a056-67f9b8c4c8f6#fdb84de2-8011-4b78-8a86-00af6f2f080fhttp://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/sharepointsearch/thread/d24d336d-95f7-4fd3-a056-67f9b8c4c8f6#fdb84de2-8011-4b78-8a86-00af6f2f080fDavid Wang Weihttp://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Profile/en-US/?user=David%20Wang%20WeiIs there a way to remove SharePoint search results? Thanks for the help!
Seems I didn't dig the admin pages deep enough to see the link!Fri, 03 Jul 2009 13:57:32 Z2009-07-03T13:57:32Z
