Error Publishing Web Enabled InfoPath Forms with Data Connections
Hi,
I am able to publish my web Enable InfoPath forms successfully till the time I use any data connection in it. The moment I use a data connection I get the following Error:
An error occurred accessing a data source.
An entry has been added to the Windows event log of the server.Log ID:5566To my surprise there is no log on the server machine, I tried putting my data connections in a dataConnection Library (Site specific) as well as in the universal DataConnection Library (at server), but either ways I was getting the same error.
Please suggest if I can do anything to make it work, thanks in advance for the help.

So Finally I made it working.
But what I found was really scary, I hope if this is a bug it should be taken care of soon, as all the error whch was coming was because the site I was trying to publish was created on a "Explicit Inclusion" managed path and everything failed on that than I created a new site with "wildcard Inclusion" managed path and everything started working.
Again I am still wondering that how this should effect if anyone knows about the core reason behind it that would be great help.

That error message referencing the event log is misleading. The real error is in the 12 hive log file. Check there.
This blog entry might help:

Thanks for the reply I followed the instructions to look for the error message and found out that the following error was getting generated.
...entialManager.Refresh() at Microsoft.Search.Administration.Security.CredentialManager.Refresh(SPProcessIdentity impersonationProcessIdentity, SearchSharedApplication searchApplication) at Microsoft.Office.Server.Search.Administration.SearchServiceInstance.SynchronizeDefaultContentSource(IDictionary applications) at Microsoft.Office.Server.Search.Administration.SearchServiceInstance.Synchronize() at Microsoft.Office.Server.Administration.ApplicationServerJob.ProvisionLocalSharedServiceInstances(Boolean isAdministrationServiceJob) at Microsoft.Office.Server.Administration.ApplicationServerAdministrationServiceJob.Execute(Guid targetInstanceId) at Microsoft.SharePoint.Administration.SPTimerJobInvoke.Invoke(TimerJobExecuteData& data, Int32& result)
Though it seems like it is some security issue but I am not sure that how could I fix it, please suggest what can I do to fix it.
Thanks and Regards,
Preet
