.NET Runtime version 2.0.50727.5420

Question

Hi,

I have some serious problem with MS Project 2010 presentation (Contoso example).

Problems starts after installation a language packs for Server and SharePoint.

I did an update but it did not help at all.

Errors are:

1^st.

Load control template file /_controltemplates/TaxonomyPicker.ascx failed

2^nd

 .NET Runtime version 2.0.50727.5420

try to remove all files from "Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v2.0.50727\Temporary ASP.NET Files" (and in "Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\Temporary ASP.NET Files" for reliability), make iisreset and try it again.

just to clarify - you see this error in MS project application or in Sharepoint site? If on the site - what exact page you request? Is it reproducible on all other pages?

Hi Guys,

 

Unfortunately I could not fix this problem so I decided to bring back snapshot from installation before language pack.

 

So I don’t know what was the problem but I know that it is related with language pack.
