Outlook and SP Sync

Question

I was wondering if you know how accurate the updates between Outlook and SP are –I was able to sync the SP Calender to my Outlook but when I update my attendees in Outlook, the changes do not seem to reflect in SP (Adding or Removing attendees). Is this a known issue? Is there a work around?

Any one that can help me please.!

I just want a conformation, whether the DB we use for Outlook and SP, peoplePicker is different.

I understand if the DB we use is different, then it is not possible. Correct me if I am wrong!
