Use my local drafts folder

Question

I would like to set all users word options to save checked out files to web server. Like stated in http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/powerpoint/HA102085831033.aspx "Your administrator might specify a custom location or prevent the location from being changed, depending on the needs of your organization". 

Am the administrator and our needs is simply to have all users check out files and use web server as the default location.

Does anyone know how to do this?????

Hi,

To work with checked-out files on a server location, we should set “Save checked-out files to” as “The web server”.

When you choose this option, you work with your checked-out files on the Web server or site where your files are stored. You cannot customize the specific location.

This is done on the Office application, meaning the setting is locally implemented. What i would like to do is to enforce this setting for all users on the network. I am sure there should be an option that enables you set it network wide. Otherwise i'd hate to imagine going to all network computers and doing the above.

I was checking group policies, office administrative templates

But didnt find anything, any ideas or suggestions are welcomed
