Hi, I met problem when we manage the Document library inherits permissions from its parent Web site.
e.g. we have group A which has contribute permission to whole site, and document library lbA, the lbA inherits permissions from its parent Web site.
when we add one user to group A, this user cannot access lbA even we have added it in group A.
how did it happen? we have set this document library inherits!
can anybody tell me why? how to solve this?

It should work according to your configuration, check out other parts of the AllItems page, may be if u have added some custom components on the page, they may not accessible to the group.
One more thing to verify is do u see the link of the document library on the left navigation menu?

Hi,
Check if the user you have added is present in other groups or not. Specially those groups that can cause this.
In other way try adding him directly with contribute access and it should work.
I hope this will help you out.

hi
check the document user tries get access to. May be permissions are unique for the documents. Also if documents are stored in the sub folders - check permissions of these subfolders. It is possbile to break permissions inheritance for folders and for particular documents. If permissions are inherited - try to break permissions on the doclib level and then inherit back.
