owssvr.dll lag in displaying latest changes to a list?

Question

Hi,

I am calling owssvr.dll to get list data, I am pointing at a view.

If I update, ad, or delete a list item, the data returned from owssvr doesnt seem to have the latest changes for some period of time.  It is like there is a delay before owssvr gets the latest info.

Wonder why that might be, and  1) am I crazy  2) is there anything I can do about the delay?

What method do you use to get data from owssvr.dll?

Hi Peter, 

Thanks for the reply.

I was able to figure this out yesterday.  I am calling owssvr from JQuery, the results were indeed being cached.  Fortunately Jquery allows one to easily turn off caching for ajax requests, once setting that up to turning off caching I was good to go.
