     Dear All,

I have configured the MOSS to use Forms Authentication usign Custom Membership Provider

And I use the Exchange Inbox webpart to display emails for the logged users..

As you know Exchange authenticate aganist Active Directory ; and my application authenticate aganist my database.

I wonder if there is a way to make mapping between the usernames so that when the user login to sharepoint, the MyInbox web part automatically display his emails ???

    Thanks,
    farouk

What address are you giving in the mail server address property of the web part?

    Thanks

    Dera Guruprasad,

I give the server name the following
    http://servername/exchange

    mailbox of some user ..

the web part ask me for the username and password (as the current user is working with the identity of custom user from the database)

I need to configure the web part to not ask me for the username and password

    Thanks,
    Farouk

I was able to do this using OWA access and as long as I was logged into the web portal my sharepoint would show my calendar.  I would assume you could do this with Inbox as well but have not played with this yet.  When I do I will post here.

When I am not connected to my portal the window where my calendar shows my logon location for my mail server and when I type in my credentials I am in.

    using HTTPS://mail.domainname/exchange/

By the way my sharepoint is out of my domain and there is no connection to my internal domain servers so I have to use OWA
