No SharePoint Solution tab in Project Properties

Question

There is no SharePoint Solution in Project Properties.

VisualStudio 2008 SP1

Don't use them ... build them from scratch ;)

I had a look at the VS 2005 ones .. personally I found them slightly buggy and 9 times out of 10 I wanted to structure them differently.
I just build my own ones now each time.

Maybe the 2008 ones are a bit better though.

The 1.2 extensions are slightly different.

To see your feature / manifest details goto View -> Other Windows -> WSP View.

Did u find the tab? Please let me know. Even i am not able to view it. OR did u get any other alternative. I badly need it

The TAB does not exist anylonger not in VseWSS 1.1 and 1.2 and still Microsoft publishes new learning tracks that refer to this Sharepoint tab. See RSS feed 'New Sharepoint for developers Track is Live on Ramp Up', http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/rampup/dd221355.aspx

level 1 Web parts - 01-WebParts.docx where they keep on referring to this Sharepoint tab.

The fact that I could not find the tab either lead me to search the forums and made mle arrive here.

VSeWSS 1.3 contains the WSP view in VS 2k8.

to Enable it:
View - Other Windows - WSP View
