    Hi, 

    I'm deploying a simple custom web on my company Sharepoint server part and I have this error.

     [UnsafeControlException: A Web Part or Web Form Control on this Page cannot be displayed or imported. The type could not be found or it is not registered as safe.]
      at Microsoft.SharePoint.ApplicationRuntime.SafeControls.GetTypeFromGuid(Guid guid)
      at Microsoft.SharePoint.WebPartPages.SPWebPartManager.CreateWebPartsFromRowSetData(Boolean onlyInitializeClosedWebParts)

    But all is working fine on my virtual machine. My web part works very well on my virtual machine.
    I've declared my webpart as safecontrols in my webconfig, I've also declared the referenced dll in the webconfig as safecontrol. I've add the [assembly: AllowPartiallyTrustedCallers] in all my dll. I'm deploying
    my .webpart file in the "C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\wpcatalogs" directory. here are my lines in the web config:

    It looks like you've got the basic steps covered.  Let me ensure that you've deployed the DLL into the bin folder for the web application.  Also, when you say c:\inetpub\wwwroot\wpcatalog, do you mean c:\inetpub\wwwroot\wss\virtualdirectories\[app]\wpcatalog?

    No just put both dll into the GAC.

    Non. I've really put it in the c:\inetpub\wwwroot\wpcatalog directory. My Application is in the directory 
    C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\wss\VirtualDirectories\80.

    Once again its working fine on my virtual machine but not on the Sharepoint server of my company.

    Hmmm.  Your configuration is strange.  To deploy a web part and scope it to a web application, you normally put the .webpart file in the wpcatalog folder within the web application.  This is at the same level as your bin folder for the web application.

    Ok, so you're putting the assemblies in the GAC.  No problem, but you don't need the AllowPartiallyTrustedCallers in this case.  It's not causing this problem, however.  It just threw me off.  :-)

    I'm guessing your web part's assembly references the other.  For example, SiteCreationWP references and is calling code in SubSiteManager.  Are there any other references?

    I would verify that these two assemblies's four-part name (assembly, version, culture and token) match what you've got in the web.config.  You can use reflector for this or just view this from the assembly view.

    Make sure that you're adding this web part into the same web application where you've changed the web.config.  (This shouldn't be a problem if you've moved wpcatalog where I mention above).

    Make sure you've reset your application pool (or run IISRESET).  

    If that doesn't work, I might try importing the .webpart to a single page to see if it works any differently.

    Lastly, you might try another even simpler web part.  Just have a single assembly.  This would be to help validate the overall state of your SharePoint install.  I'm kind of reaching here.

    Hope these somehow help you isolate the problem.
