Sharepoint webpart not showing for all users
I have a user who has added a new colum and webparts to the sharepoint homepage, he is the only one who can see the changes though. what should be done so everyone can see the changes? this is sharepoint 2007 hosted by MS through their online services
Thanks in advance- Moved byLambert QinMSFTThursday, November 05, 2009 4:17 AMsharepoint online issue (From:SharePoint - Design and Customization)

- Is this user a site owner (Full Control) or has Designer rights?
It's possible that they don't and that they went to the Welcome menu and clicked the link to edit their personal view of the page.

- Another thing to check is what type of page/site this is. If it happens to be a publishing site/page, then changes made will not be visible to others until that page has been published and approved.
You should check these two things first. The publishing page and the permissions information from Mike.- Proposed As Answer byGeetsK Wednesday, November 18, 2009 9:30 PM

I moved your issue to SharePoint Online.

- Adding on to what Cathy had to say above, if a site is checked-in but not published normal users will not be able to see the updated view...however apart from the person who modified the webpart, power users / farm admins will still be able to see the unpublished modified view
