Thursday, March 26, 2009 7:09 PMI've created a custom horizontal menu inside of WSS. Up to this point, I've been modifying the CSS and changing some of the HTML formatting inside of the masterpage.
In the current menu display, any button with a second layer of navigation displays a small black down arrow on the right side of the buttton.
I've figured out how to change the actual image, but is there a way to change the position of this down arrow? I need it on the left side of the button title (instead of the far right).
Any help would be appreciated.

The CSS style .ms-topnav img controls the position of the black down arrow in the horizontal dropdown menu.
Here is the style in core.css for your information.
You can override the style in the master page and change the left value to control the position.
But it is hard to put the image to the left side of the title, because the image is in a cell which position is on the right of the title text cell.
Per my knowledge, you need to extend the ASP.NET Menu control to implement the feature. And I suggest you to further help in ASP.NET forums.
Hope the information can be helpful.
