SSRS2008 in SPIM mode
- I have MOSS 2007 EE running against SSRS/SPIM SQL Server 2008 EE SP1.
Two questions:
1. I don't see the "Manage Subscriptions" drop down for reports in the Report Library. But I do see it when I run the report and click on Actions in the upper toolbar. Everything else is working fine.
2. Also how to enable report snapshots ? I searched high and low could not find how to do this..
Thanks,
JGP

Hi,
After activating Reporting Services on the Site Collection, you should add the Content Types to the Report Library manually. Go into the Report Library Settings and add the Report Content Types to the Report Library, after this the Manage Subscriptions Item Drop down Menu Actions will appear.
You can use report snapshots to keep a history of a report. By creating a series of report snapshots, you can build a history of a report that shows how data changes over time. Report history is a collection of report snapshots that you create over time. Each snapshot is a copy of the report as it existed when it was created. For more information, please refer to: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb326416(SQL.90).aspx
Hope it helps.
Xue-Mei Chang- Thanks for your reply.
Under Report Library >Settings.. I already see the following two Content Types:
>Report
>Dashboard Page
But I still don't see the 'Manage Subscriptions' or 'Manage Processing Options' on a SSRS report drop down.
The only one I see with 'manage' is 'Manage Permissions'.
The view name is : Current Reports
Should I try dropping and recreating the 'Report' content type?
Thanks,
JGP - Any suggestions anyone? MVPs, MS gurus.. ?

Note: Properties and metadata are not part of report delivery. When the report is delivered for the first time, it inherits the security settings of the folder or list that contains it. If you subsequently modify security settings or set report properties, those settings are retained. The subscription just refreshes the report that is stored at the specified location.
Depending on how you use roles, you can provide subscription functionality to selected groups of users by enabling or disabling subscription tasks for different roles. Subscription features are available to users through two tasks:
- The "Manage individual subscriptions" task allows users to create, modify, and delete subscriptions for a specific report. In the predefined roles, this task is part of Browser and Report Builder roles. Role assignments that include this task allow a user to manage only those subscriptions that he or she creates.
- The "Manage all subscriptions" task allows users to access and modify all subscriptions. This task is required to create data-driven subscriptions. In predefined roles, only the Content Manager role includes this task.
see Creating, Modifying, and Deleting Standard Subscriptions.
To create the subscription, you must have View Items permission on the report. To deliver the report, you must have Add Items permission on the library to which the report is delivered.
- Go to the SharePoint site from which you access the report.
- Select the report, click the down arrow next to the report, and select Manage Subscriptions.
- Click Create, Edit, or Delete.
