Sharepoint WSS 2.0 default site groups removed
I have removed the WSS default site groups , and since then I have had to have the Manage Lists turned on to view them. Can I add back the WSS default site groups, so I do not have to turn on Manage lists?

- I don't quite understand what you mean. Is this in SP2010? I haven't seen "WSS DEFAULT" anywhere yet in my build.

Could you please tell me which version of SharePoint are you using?
You said you removed WSS default site group, please tell me from where you removed the group, site or list?

Xue-Mei ChangSorry, This was an incorrect post in the SharePoint 2010 forum. The problem is from an old WSS 2.0 site where the default site groups were Administrator, Contributor, Reader and Guest. Sorry for the confusion.
