Just created a blank discussion board within my MOSS farm and when to change the view to threaded, but it only has Subject / Modifiy and Create view. Howevery, if you so into the list settings it's listed as a view (not default). Don't understand, this is a default list, blank no customizations. have cheaked with other boards within the farm and that are having the same problem. Luckly no one use them
Anyone have any thougths?

Actually even though you created Threaded view, it is not appearing in Views(because this is not top-level).
You just put "Subject" view. And click on particular subject then it will display in Threaded view of that particular discussion(if Threaded view is default one).
This Threaded view can only show once you click on particular subject.

Thanks & Regards, NeerubeeOne of the big issues with these brainiac computer types is they have no clue about how to write. I tried very heard to follow along with what I believe he was saying, but it doesn't make sense. He knows what he's trying to say, but it's just not coming across. That's why he's had to post the same answer twice.
From what I gathered, he was trying to say, if I have a subject as the required field, it would only allow a subject view, and if I put threaded field as a required field in lieu of subject, then it will allow the usage of the threaded field. Sadly, that did not work either.
Would anyone else like to take a stab at answering this?
