You have to go and repair the MOSS Program. This is done by going into control panel>add remove program> clicking the change button on the Microsoft Office Sharepoint Server 2007> and then clicking repair. After it repairs itself it tells you to reset the server and then run the “Sharepoint Products and Technology Configuration Wizard”. After resetting the server, go to start>all programs>Microsoft office server> and select the wizard. It will ask you a bunch of questions which run through the thought of “are you restarting or continuing?”. After telling them that we are continuing, it will run what it needs to and finish. The errors will have stopped from running

Beginner Moss GuyThu, 07 Aug 2008 17:55:55 Z2008-08-07T17:55:55Zhttp://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/sharepointadmin/thread/7aeab1ba-0b16-43ee-b0c0-aafcc90ae293#67367d4b-4d4d-4d39-9bd2-85b4f07e053dhttp://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/sharepointadmin/thread/7aeab1ba-0b16-43ee-b0c0-aafcc90ae293#67367d4b-4d4d-4d39-9bd2-85b4f07e053dMichael Mukalianhttp://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Profile/en-US/?user=Michael%20MukalianMOSS 2007, error 6482 repeating every 30 seconds VetteKerry's got the right idea. The KB article refers to an IIS/AD issue that the hotfix resolves.

- M
- Michael Mukalian - MCTS: MOSS 2007 Configuration - http://moss2007stuff.blogspot.comThu, 07 Aug 2008 18:22:32 Z2008-08-07T18:22:32Zhttp://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/sharepointadmin/thread/7aeab1ba-0b16-43ee-b0c0-aafcc90ae293#f18613a2-fcb5-467f-b4a1-30acab92715ahttp://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/sharepointadmin/thread/7aeab1ba-0b16-43ee-b0c0-aafcc90ae293#f18613a2-fcb5-467f-b4a1-30acab92715abitultorahhttp://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Profile/en-US/?user=bitultorahMOSS 2007, error 6482 repeating every 30 seconds Yes, it would work. However, when I tried installing the hotfix I received some error, which required me to re-install moss. I am assuming that there might be more than one cause and solution to the issue, but what I tried (above) worked for me.

Beginner Moss GuyThu, 07 Aug 2008 18:25:10 Z2008-08-07T18:25:10Zhttp://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/sharepointadmin/thread/7aeab1ba-0b16-43ee-b0c0-aafcc90ae293#5f167aab-014b-4f3e-94e1-84c63b4d2fbfhttp://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/sharepointadmin/thread/7aeab1ba-0b16-43ee-b0c0-aafcc90ae293#5f167aab-014b-4f3e-94e1-84c63b4d2fbfHelp, This Suckshttp://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Profile/en-US/?user=Help%2c%20This%20SucksMOSS 2007, error 6482 repeating every 30 seconds The Hotfix does not work for Server 2003 x64 R2. So, I still need a solution.Wed, 13 Aug 2008 16:39:28 Z2008-08-13T16:39:28Zhttp://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/sharepointadmin/thread/7aeab1ba-0b16-43ee-b0c0-aafcc90ae293#1c769970-fec1-461c-931a-bc5d5736e272http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/sharepointadmin/thread/7aeab1ba-0b16-43ee-b0c0-aafcc90ae293#1c769970-fec1-461c-931a-bc5d5736e272JackieH11http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Profile/en-US/?user=JackieH11MOSS 2007, error 6482 repeating every 30 seconds
After much research found the following KB and Hotfix for the 6398, 6482 and 7076 errors:

KB923028
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/923028

Hotfix
http://connect.microsoft.com/VisualStudio/Downloads/DownloadDetails.aspx?DownloadID=6003

However, while installing the Hotfix, I received the following error message "Error 1324.
