HiSoftware to Host Accessibility Roundtable for Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010

Microsoft SharePoint product team to co-present on latest release during the SharePoint Conference 2009 in Las Vegas

As SharePoint has become more pervasive across the enterprise, organizations are looking forward to the release of SharePoint 2010.  The SharePoint product team has been working hard on expanding the accessibility capabilities of SharePoint 2010.

HiSoftware, the SharePoint Accessibility partner and creator of the Accessibility Kit for SharePoint (AKS-MOSS) is hosting a SharePoint 2010 - Accessibility Roundtable at the upcoming SharePoint User Conference in Las Vegas.  The Microsoft SharePoint 2010 product team is the featured presenter in showcasing accessibility within SharePoint 2010.

Please find the full announcement and registration link for the upcoming SharePoint 2010 Accessibility Roundtable:  http://hisoftware.com/press/2009-10-07_SPRoundtable.html.

We are looking to hold a similar event in the UK – Nov 4.

I submitted my registration. Hopefully I'll be one of those people who will get "accepted" to show up. Looking forward to meeting all of you guys. Take it easy.

Now that the event has come and gone, is the information announced available anywhere for those of us who couldn't go to Vegas or London?

    Hi there,

We as attendees of SPC 2009 are able to sign in to MySPC and get latest PPT decks and videos. Even with that, I don't see anything on Accessibility. The session that was supposed to be loaded onto MYSPC that talks about SharePoint 2010 and Accessibility isn't there, so we are missing some content. I wish I have it for you. Sorry.

Anyways, what I recommend at least for now, is keep watching the latest news on Accessibility from HiSoftware here and on their blog - http://blogs.hisoftware.com/ HiSoftware released a new version of AKS as well as new scanning capabilities for Compliance Sheriff.

    Take it easy!
