error occured in deployment step 'retract solution' cannot start service SPUserCodeV4 on this computer

Question

While deploying a webpart in VS2010. i got this error - error occured in deployment step 'retract solution' cannot start service SPUserCodeV4 on this computer.

How can i resolve it?

Try restarting the Service 'Windows Sharepoint Service user code Host v4' in the Computer Management -> Services tab.

You can do the following steps to resolve it.

1. Go to Central Administration

2. Open "System Settings"

3. Open "Manage services on server"

4. Locate the service “Microsoft SharePoint Foundation User Code Service”

5. Start the service  “Microsoft SharePoint Foundation User Code Service”

I have created a sandbox solution and deployed it, its working well and fine. 

 

Again, I have logged the dev machine which a different user. Now i am able to build the solution successfully, but while deploying the same solution i am getting the error

 

"Error occurred in deployment step 'Retract Solution': The local SharePoint server is not available. Check that the server is running and connected to the SharePoint farm."

 

I have even tried changing the *.wsp file and deploying it manually and i am still getting the error.

Actually service name is "Microsoft SharePoint Foundation Sandboxed Code Service " that needs to be activated

To activate follow below step

a)open central administrator on the server

b) Look for Site Settings and click on it

c) under Servers click on Manage Services on server

now you would able to see above service.
