Questionfailed to start restored snapshots after migrating Hyper-V VMs from 2008 SP2 to 2008 R2

I migrated VMs (via export/import) from a Win 2008 x64 SP2 Enterprise machine to a Win 2008 R2 x64 R2 Enterprise machine. When I tried to restore a snapshot made on the previous machine and try to start that VM I get the error: "Saved state file version is incompatible"

Does anyone know if snapshots migrated from 2008 SP2 to 2008 R2 are supported?

    Steps to Reproduce:
    - SP2: Export each VM to local drive (each VM has at least 1 snapshot)
    - SP2: Copy exported VMs to R2 machine's local drive
    - R2: Import each VM from local drive -> Works fine
    - R2: Start each VM -> Works fine
    - R2: Restore snapshot -> Machines shut down, state changes to Saved
    - R2: Start VM -> Error: failed to restore, saved state file version is incompatible
