Web Farm For ASP Net Memory Question

My department just upgraded to a web farm setting (windows 2003 R2, 2 VMs, 2CPU, 4GB RAM individually,using F5 sticky session rule) running a .net 20 app against a SQL Server 2005 DB. We found the max memory that we can use is only 1.2GB, we even tried to alter the machine config file the PorcessModel memorylimitation=90. But it still not work. The error log files shows 'outofmemory'? Can someone help to give me some suggestions or ideas?  Thanks.
