Issue installing Service bus beta for windows server

Question

Hi,

I'm facing an issue installing the Service bus beta for windows server using the Web platform installer.

Microsoft Web platform installer couldn't find the product you tried to install. Either the link you clicked is incorrect or you may be overriding your feed with a different feed.

The target platform is

Windows Server 2008 R2, x64, SP1

Can someone please help me.

Current bits cannot be installed by simply selecting the prodect in platform installer. This will be fixed soon.For no do following:

•      Install Microsoft Web Platform Installer from http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=255386 .
•      Start it.
•      Click Options (down below-right),
•    Set the Primary Feed to \Local\AppFabricServerFeed.xml .(starting in root folder where setup bits are contained)
•      Click OK, and then select Workflow Manager 1.0, or Servioce Bus in the feed.

Hi Damir,

I'm not finding the AppFabricServerFeed.xml file that you speak of.  Is there an exe somewhere that I can use that doesn't use Web Platform Installer?  From what I've gathered online, there used to be.

Hello All,

Turns out that the issue in my case was that I did not have Service Pack 1 installed for Server 2008 R2.  I must have missed that somewhere in the pre-reqs.

We have just release the Service Bus 1.0 for windows server (RTM) .
