QuestionSidebar in Search Center results...

Searching for the string  "abc" under Search Server 2008 Express "Search Center Home", returns, in addition to what I want, a sidebar of info apparently drawn from the Internet. (e.g. it returns www.abc.com, in my case.)

Can this sidebar be turned off or disabled as the information it returns is not related to the internal site I want searched.

    TIA,

    Barkingdog

Yes, just edit your results page and find the federated results web part.  You can choose to delete it from the context menu there and it won't show up any more.  If you decide you want it back again later, you can always readd it.
