Search server 2008 and Fedora-commons repository

Question

Hello all,

I am investigating different methods for creating a search and browse interface for a fedora-commons digital repository (version 3.x).
The basic requirements are that the search interface should be customisable, should support faceted search and of-course work with fedora.

Has anyone tried using this for anything other than Office share point?
