Many of the SDL related videos online and even the SDL documentation itself, there's a lot of "selling" of the SDL in that it is assumed the reader still needs to be convinced. However, many times, the requirements are rolled out and the teams are there to learn what they should do -- they don't need convincing. In such a mode, the sales-pitch in the documentation gets in the way; people are just trying to understand what they need to do.
I just watched another SDL video. The first five minutes, everything about it was why the SDL is a good thing. I fast forwarded 30 minutes, and the speaker was still talking about how "SDL works!" -- very annoying.
