I am developing a web service that brings a set of strings from a 3rd party database. This webservice has only one function send a query to his database, get the info back.

Is it possible to create a workflow in Sharepoint Designer to (access this service and) get the required information from the 3rdparty database though the service?

[DB] <---> [My Service] <---> [Workflow]

The main use of this workflow is to poll after every hour and search the DB for the data and distribute work among different users.

    Thanks for your help!

    Best regards,
    Hari
