Display problem with vertical lines on right side of tablet screen

Question

I'm seeing some video problems on the right side of the tablet screen. Vertical lines that flash on and off, and sometimes stay, to the point of concealing the charms. Turning off and back on usually fixes it. Is this a hardware video problem, or just a preview driver problem that might be fixed in the next (beta?) drop of Win8?

Yes, this is still happening.

Assume you mean version of the video driver?

Intel HD Graphics Family

Driver date: 8/11/2011

Driver version: 9.17.10.2482
