Answered Logitech Pro 4000

    Hi

     

    I have a Logitech Pro 4000, i already installed the recommended(by windows) driver. My problem is that when i start the service and i check the colorSegment service to define new colors my computer restarts =/ it only happens with this cam, i have a logitech QuickCam Express and it works fine.. the problem is that this cam is old and the resolution inst very good, so i want to use the Pro 4000, anyone with this problem? I hope u guys can help me

    Hi,

     

    Can you try to run the webcam service with your camera by it self, without hte color segmentation service? When you run it try to access the service in the browser and see if you see it's image there.

     

    Color segmentation service does not call in to the web cam driver directly, it uses the web cam service.

     it dont let me =/ as soon as i choose the Service Directory my computer restarts =/

    How about just starting an empty node, with no manifest, does that restart you computer when you view the Control Panel? Even if the video camera is unpluged.

    no, it only happens with this webcam model, i used an older model and it works fine, but the old webcam resolution isnt good Big Smile thats why i want to try with this cam
