    Hi,
From my understanding, your VS will terminate an ASP.NET appliaction immediately after the solution is opened, am i right?
Did you try to new an ASP.NET application? or try to open a non-asp.net application with VS? will you get same exception?
Anyway, this forum is not fit for this kind of questions, you can post it at VS forum for better and quicker support, good luck:)

    Thanks,
    Eric
