What would cause a sudden increase in the published database?

Question

Our DBA found a sudden need to increase space as a result of using Ignite on the server. What are the possible reasons for such a large increase for this table?

After the project server was provisioned, did you enter any projects or migrate any thing from PS200.

Michael,

We migrated from Project Server 2007 one year ago.  This increase has been noticed only lately.  Do you have any other suggestions?

Hi there,

What patch level are you? There was a fix for this back in October 2011: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2596531 and another fix in the February 2012 CU (KB includes bulk SQL clean up script): http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2598007

We are patched to Aug 2012 CU.  I will take a look at the bulk cleanup script to see if there is something in that routine that could help.
