    Hi,

Is it any link between Oracle and Microsoft EPM.

and we can run both in same company and integrate to each other ?

and what benefit we can get with both if we integrate them.

and kindly tell me Primavera is also an Project Management system like same as Microsoft EPM. or more powerfull than EPM ?

    Hi,

    Project Server requires SQL Server.

Primavera is a full EPM solution. However, it is considerably more expensive and complicated. On a Refinery upgrade project I wiped the floor with Primavera and that was just using Project 2003! Different tools have different strengths so your only recourse is to work out your business needs then match available tools to your needs. Also remember that tools on their own don't work. Any effective solution needs tools, people and processes.

Hi Basim,  If you are referring more to the Oracle financials piece then you should be able to integrate some aspects of this to Project Server using the PSI interfaces, or with MOSS you have the option of using Business Data Connectivity.  The Project and SharePoint SDKs give more details, but I can probably give a better answer if you give an idea of the integration you are looking for.

I don't have enough knowledge on the Primavera suite to comment.

    Best regards,

    Brian.
