I have fresh install of Project server 2010.

I add %Physical  complete in Task view but it is read only by default and cannot be updated by anybody. In project Server 2007 I could successfully add this field to task view and it was unpalatable.

Am I missing any setting? Is there any solution to this?

    Amir:

It's odd that you could do that in 2007 - it must have  been a bug. Physical % Complete is a task-level field and shouldn't have different values at the assignment level. The good news it you can add this to a Project view and edit in PWA from there.

    Amir,

Just want to verify you that, in my case:Physical %complete is editable if i update it using the Project 2010. However if i add the field in Project View and try to update while edit the project in PWA, its read-only.

this looks bit odd to me because if its editable in Project, it should be editable in PWA as well.

Well, that's a bummer. I think we need to submit a design change request.

    hi guys,

Do we have any news on that? Is this resolution included in SP1 because I can't find anything related. Could we somehow "unlock" the field in jsgrid?
