Project file XXX does not accept [No Group] or [No Filter] selection

Question

In Project Professional 2010 , The Project  file XXX does not accept [No Group] or [No Filter] selection:

If trying to choose [No Group], the former group is applied again and a message will be shown:

Error message :

The group "" can nto be found.You tried to display a view that references a group that is not available.Specify a different group for the view.

what happens, if you select 'clear group' resp. 'clear filter'?

One of my customers has this problem as well.  Clear Group yields the same error message.
