    Hi.

    I started at my new job. My boss requires me to develop WebParts for Sharepoint. Here is the scenario.

    Computer_A = My work Desktop(XP) with Visual Studio 2005 installed on it.
    Computer_B = Server 2003 with Windows Sharepoint Services(WSS 3.0).

    I want to be able to Develop webparts for Sharepoint from my Desktop using Microsoft.SharePoint.dll. Is this possible?
    I know that the 'Microsoft.SharePoint.dll' lives on "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\web server extensions\12\ISAPI" but I think this can "ONLY" be used on a server which has WSS installed.

    Please Help!

    Cec
