Can I create a CUSTOM (CODE) Quick Step Action

Question

I want to create a "feature" similar to the CREATE A TASK with TEXT MEssage custom actoin found in QUCK STEPS (Custom actions).  Essentially, I want to allow the user to choose which task list the itema is applied too.  THis is primarly so task can be creted on connected SharePoint task lists using one click (i.e. Quick Step).

Just want to explore feasibilty andeffort at ths time, and would appreciate insight and guidance.

Can't do that. What you see is what you get - you cannot extent quick steps functionality.

You can however create a COM add-in that adds its own button to Outlook. You can do anything your want in your own code.
