NTLM Behavior

Question

We have a SSO application that uses NTLLM for authentication. the application is configured to use the full domain name example: contoso.com. we are having some issues where if one of the domain controllers are down the SSO application does not shift to the remaining domain controllers to authenticate. Is this the normal behavior of NTLM because it uses the point-to-point trust relationships?

Hello Georges Deaibess,

I will be assisting you with your SSO NTLM authentication issue. Can you share some details about your application ? specifically how it uses strictly NTLM and whether this issue is happening in complete Microsoft Windows environment. i.e. no other operating system such as Linux etc involved.. What error does your application report ? Are you implementing a protocol from Microsoft Windows Open Specifications ?
