Missing schemas for conference info extensions

Question

Hi,

The XSD schema for conference info extensions

http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd944265%28office.12%29.aspx

references two XSD documents that seem to be missing in the published documentation (ms-ci-ext2.xsd, endptsettings.xsd). Are these available online somewhere or, if not, can Microsoft post them?

Hi Vlad,

Thank you for your patience. It looks like both namespace definitions, mentioned in your posting, are missing. The first one, confinfoextensions, has an older definition in MS-CONFBAS 8.2 http://schemas.microsoft.com/rtc/2005/08/confinfoextensions.
I filed a request to have this included in a future release of the documentation.

indeed, the older "2005/08" version is posted, and we've used it successfully, while the "2008/12" revision is missing.

Do you have an approximate ETA for publishing the missing schemas?

Hi Vlad,

The documentation and the product groups are working on to correct the problem, two “import namespace”s in MS-CONFAV 6.2 don’t have matching schemas. When the corrected documents will be documented I’ll post the news here.

I noticed that the [MS-CONFAV] document was touched at least once since April, but no updates were made.

Did you hear back from the documentation and product groups regarding the two missing schemas? Is there an ETA for getting the correction?

Hi Vlad,

The new release of the Microsoft Office Protocol Documents will contain the fix, which probably will effect two documents.
