Help with micorsoft acess
- hi i am having a bit of triuble actaully i have a very old cd actaully having an apllication of viewing students in 1987 done in 2003 Acess and it came in cd with .mdb file and a ui to display the data properly but apparently i want to edit this file and i am having trouble doing that it says that i donot have permission and the error number is 3033 if you google search it....so i read a few they all are talking about having some .mdw file i am not sure even though i found one called system.mdw but not sure how to use it ....please help me with this issue thanks

System.mdw is a 'Workgroup Information File'. This is used for a secure Access database. It appears that you will need to create a new Workgroup Information file - which will require you to re-enter all the details of the original Workgroup Information file, the user accounts, and the passwords. Hopefully this information is available to you.
Error 3033 means 'Wrong parameter type given'.
