OP_TAG ({MS-OXORULE].pdf)
OP_TAG ({MS-OXORULE].pdf)
- OP_TAG action in a rule is apparently used to both add a property to a message (tag) and delete a property( e.g. Clear Categories rule).
How do I distinguish between the two?
In case of "Clear Categories" rule, I see a weird proptag of 0x800894B0, which followed by the GUID, Kind and ID ("Keywords").

just checking if you have any updates regarding this question.
Thanks!
OutlookSpy and Redemption - http://www.dimastr.com - Dmitry,
Properties in Rules can't actually be deleted. They can be modified and added. In the "categories" example, categories are set to a collection of zero length strings. The general approach is to set the value of a property to something for example, for a string, set it to a zero length string, fo ra multivalue string, set it to a collection of zero length strings, for an integer, set it to 0x00, etc...
Does this help?

- Thanks Tom, that does help!
One last question - how about the propety tag (0x800894B0)?
OutlookSpy and Redemption - http://www.dimastr.com - Hi Dmitry,
I'm not sure what that property tag is. Can you provide me with a trace or file? You can send an email to dochelp@microsoft.com and reference my name and the issue description: "OP_TAG ({MS-OXORULE].pdf)" and it will get to me.

I sent a screenshot of the blob that I am seeing to dochelp@microsoft.com
Thanks!
