QuestionMail merge probs with access

    Can anyone tell me how to mail merge from an access query rather than a table? I have tried to merge it from the query but it keeps telling me that mail merge can't run as the database is in exclusive mode, close and re open that doesnt work. If I use word it says there is no data, I have to go into the table and click on the customers that I want to get it to merge. this is very time consuming as I only want to merge about 150 customers out of a database of thousands!
