    What are the specifications on creating icons for the Excel 2013 Ribbon? Size? Resolution? Number of colors?

      Thanks for posting in the MSDN Forum.

      I think I can't catch your goal firmly. Would you please show me more details of your goal?

      In my opinion, you need clarify which manner you will use to create your ribbon and icons will used in which kind of controls. It's based on my experiecne that Office 2010's ribbon will work on Office 2013. So the way create Office 2010's ribbon will available for Office 2013.
