Information regarding ACS protocols and management model for November CTP

Question

Hi,

I've just downloaded the November SDK, however I'm unable to find any documentation regarding:
 a) the new protocols for requesting tokens, namely the denominated "shared secret", "signed Simple Web Token (SWT)" and "signed SAML token" variants
 b) the new token formats
 c) the management model and related concepts

Where or when will this information be available?
Do we need to wait until PDC to have some decent information regarding the new ACS?

You can find information about the November CTP version of ACS on MSDN: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee725242.aspx . You can find whitepapers on the .NET services here: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsazure/developers/dotnetservices/ . The SDK also contains samples that you can use to learn about the changes in the new version of ACS.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. I think the information that I'm looking for is available on the MSDN link: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee725242.aspx . I'm now going to study it.

However, the ACS whitepaper link points to a "roadmap" document that does not contain any technical details.

Hi Pedro,

We are working on refreshing the white papers for the November 2009 CTP release.  We are hoping to provide the white papers to customers in the near future.
