QuestionCannot uninstall .net framework 4 beta 1 on Vista 64

I installed successfully VS 2010 and .net framework beta 1 on Vista x64 and I'm planning to upgrade to Win 7.
But I cannot uninstall the framework.
According to https://connect.microsoft.com/VisualStudio/feedback/ViewFeedback.aspx?FeedbackID=478238&wa=wsignin1.0, "Please allow .NET Framework 4 setup uninstall continue to finish by clicking on “close program” when you see the crash dialog. " the setup never ends and gets stuck at the same position even when I click "close program", no matter how many times I do it.
After my system is in a weird state, many .NET programs fail, the only solution is to reinstall VS 2010.
    Any other suggestions?

    Hi CadErikWork,

I am moving this thread from Base ".Net Framework Setup" forum to the ".NET Framework 4 setup & deployment (Pre-Release versions)" forum, since the issue is related to .NET Framework 4.0. There are more experts in the ".NET Framework 4 setup & deployment (Pre-Release versions)" forum.

    Thanks

    Hi,

You may have gotten into this state if VC Redist 10.0 was removed before attempting to uninstall .Net Framework 4.0 Beta 1.  Rather than reinstalling all of VS 2010 Beta 1, you can try to reinstall the .Net Framework, which will replace VC Redist.  Then I recommend removing .Net Framework first, before uninstalling VC Redist 10.0 Beta 1.

    Thanks,
    ~Merrie
