    I have installed the full version of .net framework 4.0 and I see two thing sin add/remove features. 1) .net framework 4.0 client profile 2) .net framework 4.0 extended What is this .net framework extended? Does (1) & (2) combine make it FULL framework?

      Yes, that's likely the remaining part of FULL framework sitting on top of Client framework.
