Sorry to here that you are running into install issues. To further investigate the issue, please share the .NET Framework installation log files . You can find the steps to collect the log files from http://blogs.msdn.com/b/varungupta/archive/2009/10/26/instructions-to-collect-net-framework-4-and-visual-studio-2010-beta-setup-logs.aspx . Please upload the log to skydrive and provide access to my live id ( [e-mail]).

At first, please download and check the system requirement of .NET Framework 4 from the following link: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=0a391abd-25c1-4fc0-919f-b21f31ab88b7

 

Disable anti-virus, security software or firewall and run the installer to install .NET 4 with Administrator Privilege

If any problem occurs during the installation, use Collect tool to collect the log files for further troubleshooting.

The steps to collect the log:
- Try to clean your "%temp%" folder (Start Menu >> Run >> Type "%temp%")
- Install .NET Framework 4
- Collect the logs from "%temp%" folder
   Collect tool: http://blogs.msdn.com/heaths/archive/2008/05/09/visual-studio-and-net-log-collection-utility.aspx
- Send vslogs.cab file to me ([e-mail])
