Where to find .NET Framework version 1.1.4322?

Question

I am trying to install synctoy from Microsoft. This software requires installation of .NET Framework 1.1.4322. The setup automatically leads to a page displaying the .NET Framework redistributable as well as SDK version 2.0 for x86, x64, IA64. I have a pentium 4 machine(not 64-bit). I have tried to install x86 versions of both redistributable as well as SDK version but still I get the same message for running the setp of synctoy. I am not sure what I am doing wrong. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks. Perfect solution. It worked alright. I can install synctoy now. I guess may be MS needs to change the link provided by the synctoy setup.

I get this when I try to install SQL Server Managment Pack and SQL Server Health and History Tool.

 

When I try to install the .NET 1.1 Redistrubution Package it just fails with "An error occured while Windows Installer was initializing.  Setup will now close"

I still have Windows 98 and I'm sure it's a ploy to force Windows 98  users to upgrade . Any advise on how to install ,NetFramework will be very much appreciated.

Have been looking for a solution to the problem - (Error 25015) upgrading from .NET1.1 to 2.0 - for weeks and weeks and Jack's solution worked perfectly...phew!  Thank you!

Hi,

I have O/S windows vista home basic SP2

i too required .NET Framework 1.1.4322 to run my application. I downloaded the setup but while installing i received following error:

"Application has generated an exception that could not be handled
Process id=0x1f7c (8060), Thread id=0x1bfc (7164)
Click of to terminate the application
CLick cancel to debug the application"

Any idea how to solve this. i am not so sound in technical terms what i want is to run my application at any cost.

It says it's an English version, but it actually is a Russian version. Bit of a surprise, but then again the buttons to click are in the same position.
I did and it works fine.
It's the same version as Jack Luan proposed; but that version is also in another language and it sort of shied me away.
When the Russian appeared I just went for it.

I am trying to install an old .msi file but it gives the error of This setup requires the .NET Framework version 1.1.4322. So I decided to download this file and try it again. But before it, I have the newest version of .NET. Do you think it may create some problem with installing this old version? Or is there any other way to run my old .msi file which requires v 1.1.4322?

Even I try to install this old version in win7 now, it gave the error of "dotnetfx.exe is not a valid win32 application".

It's also possible to use the Orca MSI Database editor
