microsoft .net framework 3.1 sp1 not able install in my computer

Question

I have HP Pavilion Media Center a1521in - Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition Ver.2002 sp3 SOFTWARE. -Internet Explorer 8 -  I also have .net frame 1.1.4322/1033/Repair redist.htm - .net 2.0 - MSXML 4.0SP2 (KB954430) KB 973688 and .net 6.0 sp2 (KB973686)

But not able to install .net 3.5 sp1 -  

Unless I install 3.5 sp1 I will not be to install SUMSUNG KIES in my computer.

Can you please give a solution?

Please show the link to the download you tried to install.

Also, provide complete install logs as follows:

Please collect your install logs with this:

After you run Collect.exe, you'll find vslogs.cab in your %temp% directory. Please upload vslogs.cab to a public site, like SkyDrive, and post the link here.

Here is a general procedure you can use if you wish:

Clear your %temp% directory. Disable your AV software.

Install using the standalone, cumulative installer (run as administrator):

Actually I have researched for .NET 3.5 SP1 on your OS, it is supported by that OS.

So we really need more information to help you troubleshoot this issue.

We didn't know what caused the error.

In case you haven't back, we may need to close this case.
