Hi all. Sorry for the kind of off topic thing but I need to install a software which makes me install .NET FRAMEWORK 2.0 but I just can't do that. I reinstalled windows installer 3.1, .NET FRAMEWORK 1 and 1.1 and Compact Framework 2.0 SP2 All this under Win XP SP2. In my "add remove programs" window the .NET FRAMEWORK 2.0 (2.0.50727) and a security update KB928365 are there but show no size and when I try to uninstall it I get a windows installer message stating that "This action is only valid for installed products." I tried a Microsof registry cleaner from the support website, uninstalling everything, stating fresh...the works... I never got it to install because when I do an error occurs and states "error 25015. The assembly wasn't able to install. C:\WINDOWS\microsoft.net\framework\v 2.0.50727\microsoft.build.tasks.dll due to a system error: the system could not find the destination path"

(these are messages in portuguese which I'm translating to english)

Can anyone help ? I'd hate to format my PC which has tons of things installed.

    Regards,

    Jose Canela
