More "Turn windows features on or off" problems.

Question

I'm trying to run programs that have to have Microsoft Framework 3.5, and it's always directing me to "Turn Windows Features on or off". 

I see these threads everywhere but nothing seems to work. I've installed everything they told me to, I've attempted to check all the boxes under "Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5.1", I've screwed around with the command prompt, nothing at all seems to work.

I've tried the cleanup tool, it doesn't do anything. 

I really hope i don't have to format my computer and start up fresh. again, I've tried EVERYTHING you can think of. If it's been posted on another thread, I've tried it and it doesn't work for me. I'm looking for fresh ideas. If I have to start over fresh, so be it. 

I have Windows 7, 32bit. Anything else you people need to know, I'll tell you. I just want to get this thing solved.

Looks like embedded .NET Framework corruption.

Please verify as follows:

Welcome to the MSDN forum.

From the verification tools, your issue is more clear. The .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 feature embeded in your OS is corrupt.

Now please try to follow the steps on this blog and try to repair it first:

It will leads you to use this command: sfc /scannow.

Which is used to check system files and fix it.

But if you failed on this command, I'm afraid you should consider recover your system or reinstall it. It will be hard work trying to find the specific missing or corrupt system file.
